Sunrise is Hope

There was never a night or a problem that could defeat sunrise or hope. – Bern Williams

I was in Putrajaya as a photog volunteer for SCB Fun Run. I was setting-up my stuff and positioned myself at the location assigned to. Suddenly, the sky turned orange. Viola! It was the sunrise. Perfect!

Redang Escapade. Exploring the Island.

Malaysia is not popular for pristine beaches. Yes, you may heard about Langkawi and Saba. I have never been to both but as per reviews, the former is overrated when it comes to beaches while the latter have few but it is quiet far from Kuala Lumpur. I was really longing to have a beach trip in Malaysia but I got nowhere to go that I can compare to the beaches in the Philippines. Until, I tried Redang Island.

When the jetty was approaching the dock of Redang Beach Resort, I was fascinated by the clear crystal water. I really thought I was in an island in the Philippines or Thailand. The beach coast, the island, the forest, the gigantic not-limestone rock formations, etc, etc are indeed so lovely even from afar. I couldn’t wait to splash.Optimized-_MG_0670 Continue reading Redang Escapade. Exploring the Island.

Redang Escapade. A Birthday Blast with Nature.

It was my birthday again and instead of going on solo backpacking, I decided to go with my friends and enjoy the lavish beauty of nature. I should have done the Vietnam solo backpacking (Hanoi – Hue – Hoi An – Danang and Ho Chi Minh) but for budget reason, I cancelled it.

Redang Island (Pulau Redang in Bahasa) is the biggest island of Redang archipelago which is 45 km off coast of the state of Terengganu. The island is known for its very clear crystal water, white sandy beaches and the snorkeling and scuba diving adventures._MG_0880 Continue reading Redang Escapade. A Birthday Blast with Nature.

Putrajaya. The Intelligent Garden City.

Putrajaya is a man-made city based on the concept of Ebenezer Howard’s Garden Cities of Tomorrow published in 1902. In this book, the author mentions the creation of town of limited size permanently situated in an agricultural land. The city is furthermore beyond that concept showcasing its more extravagant in scale, trendy landscape and building architectures and the centralized location of Malaysia’s national government. This is a very aggressive ambition of Malaysia.
